The University of Sydney Vietnam Institute (SVI) designs, leads, and co‑leads high‑quality research programs in priority areas, working in close partnership with researchers and institutions in Vietnam, Australia, and internationally.

Through a permanent, in‑country presence, SVI enables ethical, collaborative, and sustained research engagement, bringing together University of Sydney academics, Vietnam‑based researchers and professional staff, and partners across universities, government, industry, and civil society.

Our work is multidisciplinary, policy‑engaged, community‑centred, innovation‑driven, and focused on delivering real‑world impact.
