Following the success of the Surgical Trials Workshop at Viet Duc Hospital in 2024, on October 10, 2025, the University of Sydney Vietnam Institute (SVI), in collaboration with the Gia Dinh People’s Hospital and the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health, organized the “Surgical Trials Workshop” in Ho Chi Minh City.
The University of Sydney and the Academy of Journalism and Communication strengthened their collaboration in media and communication, opening opportunities for academic exchange, joint research, and international training programs—marking a new milestone in global education and research partnership.
In 2025, Professor Hala Zreiqat – a globally renowned expert in Biomedical Engineering from the Faculty of Engineering, University of Sydney (Australia) – made two successive visits to Vietnam, accompanied by the University of Sydney Vietnam Institute (SVI). These engagements marked an important milestone in advancing strategic research partnerships between the University of Sydney and leading Vietnamese institutions.
